Stoneguard is a small, focused team building systematic trading technology for US stocks. We are interested in speaking with skilled practitioners who want to contribute to real research and production work.
We are not hiring at volume—we are looking for the right people to work with on defined problems across our trading technology stack. Engagements may take the form of contract collaboration, advisory relationships, or longer-term partnerships, depending on fit and scope.

Who we are open to speaking with
We welcome conversations with practitioners across the following profiles.
ML Engineers
Experience building and evaluating models in production-minded environments—classification, forecasting, or anomaly detection applied to financial or time-series data.
Quant Developers
Strong programming skills with familiarity in systematic strategy research, backtesting frameworks, and the practical constraints of live trading systems.
Data Scientists
Comfortable moving from exploratory analysis to reproducible pipelines—feature design, statistical validation, and clear communication of results.
Algorithmic Trading Developers
Background in execution systems, order management, market data handling, or low-latency infrastructure relevant to US stocks.
Researchers With Implementation Ability
Academic or industry researchers who can translate ideas into working code—not only publish findings, but build and test them rigorously.
